Since many people do not always have the time or inclination to successfully integrate a health supportive diet ongoing without some guidance, a personalized consultation can jump start your journey. I can help you quickly learn what your unique needs are, how to balance them seasonally, when you "fall off the wagon", eat emotionally, are under stress, when you travel or if you happen to get ill. My specialty is creating health supportive strategies to use when you eat out, travel, and easy to prepare recipes to satisfy your cravings. Finally, we will work together to put into practice your unique personal guidelines and make them part of your lifestyle starting with our first consultation.

Often we impair this ability through our unconscious daily habits, our mental - emotional responses to life situations and inappropriate food choices. Fortunately these patterns can all be changed to work for you.... and with the right tools and guidance the process can be easy, effective and fun!

Beautiful skin and a youthful appearance come from within. They are simply a reflection of the state of your overall health, a harmony of body, mind and spirit. Since our bodies are formed from cells and the quality of the cell is determined by the fuel it receives, we are truly "what we eat." A solid core of health supportive food choices is an ideal place to begin our journey for optimal wellness and ageless beauty.

As a holistic health care practitioner and educator since 1986 I have enjoyed teaching people to create optimal health and wellbeing through understanding how to balance food choices with lifestyle and the use of simple, self care natural healing tools. My work draws upon more than 28 years of study in the traditional Asian healing arts, holistic nutrition and western natural healing modalities. With my help you can learn how appropriate food choices combined with simple self care tools, will help you reduce stress, balance your emotions, increase energy, achieve your ideal weight and create ageless beauty naturally.

What I Need From You:

  1. To determine your body type from photos, I need four pictures.
    • A front view
    • A side view
    • A back view
    • A close-up of your face and hands. For this picture, hold your hands up next to your face, palms facing the camera, and go in as close as you can.

    Please wear something like a bathing suit or a leotard, so that I can easily see the outline of your body. I don't have to see your skin but I do have to see the outline. Also, please don't hold anything in. Let it all hang out. Of course, the pictures are completely confidential. No one will ever see them but me.

    Be sure that the photo includes all of you, from the top of your head to your toes. Be sure to stand in front of a light-colored background (doors work well.) If it's a dark or busy background, sometimes I have a hard time seeing the outline of your body.

    If you have long hair, please put your hair up so that I can see the outline of your neck from the side view. In the front and back view, be sure to have your arms a little bit away from your body.

  2. A picture of your tongue relaxed out of your mouth taken in natural daylight.
    • A food journal of what you eat & drink over a 3-4 day period including meal times, snack times, rising & bedtimes.
    • What foods and drinks do you crave?
    • If someone waved a magic wand and you could eat and drink whatever you wanted for a day, what would your "free pass" day look like for meals/snacks/drinks?
  3. A list of all vitamins, minerals, supplements, herbs, homeopathics, OTC medications & prescription medications you are taking now. Please also note who recommended or prescribed the above & why.
  4. If you were a client of Eileen Poole's, a copy of your last diet with date.
  5. A list of what's going on in the physical, mental, emotional levels that you would like to work on together.
  6. Your birthdate/height/current weight and what you consider your ideal weight.
  7. Your current exercise routines/frequency/duration
  8. Your mailing address if you would like paperback copies of the Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help book & Eat Your Way To Health for an additional charge.

Consultation Payment Information - Consultations can be paid using your credit card via PayPal (My Paypal account is info@kaarenjordan.com) by personal check or money order. Since I have a great calling plan if you live in the US I can call you for the consultation. I also offer audio and video consultations via SKYPE for those with SKYPE accounts. SKYPE can be downloaded free of charge.

You will learn how appropriate food choices combined with simple self care acupressure can help to reduce stress, balance your emotions, increase your energy, eliminate cravings, maintain your ideal weight and create ageless beauty naturally. Lifestyle changes may also be suggested to help you reach your ideal weight, eliminate cravings and live to your healthful potential. You will also receive a personalized Jin Shin Jyutsu self care program to help you maintain wellness on a daily basis or an anti- aging, acupressure for the face plan designed for your daily use depending on what program you choose.
